Tobruk, 1941. As the siege closes in, Tom Archer arrives with the remnants of a shattered battalion and takes command of a company formed from scattered survivors. First tasked with protecting the harbour, his men are soon sent to the perimeter, where patrols and raids carry the fight beyond the wire. Shellfire, thirst and mounting losses wear them down. Then German armour and infantry come for their line, and Archer must hold his company together through Tobruk’s greatest test.
